might as well post an update. i'm in a hole.  i have no motivation whatsoever to do anything.  i'm constantly bored. i've been a school nerd for 18 years, and now in my first yr of university, it's boring as hell.  nothing here is intellectually stimulating. once 1st term exams finish, i think i'm going to try and make something in photoshop.... just for fun.  why not, right?  dunno, we'll see. to all the cool people i've met here, send me a message, post something, w/e.  i'd like to hear how everything is going for u guys. merry christmas all.

i don't care if you beat me, it doesn't mean you're better. If Phil Ivey moves all-in with KK and you call with K2 and hit quad 2's, it doesn't mean you're better than me. If you beat Roger Federer once, it doesn't mean you're better than him. Success is all about the long run.  I may lose this battle to you, but trust me, I will win the war.  I guarantee it.

Of course it hurts to lose when you're the #1 prohibitive favourite.  It hurts even more when you lose because of something completely subjective. Now I know how Roger Federer feels when he loses.
